Encoder.guru is a free suite of 107 online tools for developers, designers and technical teams. It brings the small utilities you reach for every day — encoders and decoders, hash generators, JSON and text formatters, JWT and cryptography helpers, image and PDF utilities, CSS generators, and language cheat sheets — together in one fast, no-nonsense place. There is no signup, no paywall and no software to install. You open a tool, paste your data, and get a result.
Privacy comes first
The defining principle of Encoder.guru is that your data stays yours. Almost every tool runs completely inside your web browser using modern web technologies such as the Web Crypto API, the Canvas API and Web Workers. When you paste text, drop a file or generate a key, that content is processed on your own device — it is not uploaded to a server, stored in a database or logged anywhere. For sensitive work like decoding a JWT, hashing a password or encrypting a file, this means the values never travel across the network at all.
Because the tools are client-side, they also keep working on slow connections and load almost instantly once cached. It is a design choice that happens to be good for privacy, good for speed and good for reliability all at once.

The library is organised into practical categories: JSON & Text for formatting, validating, diffing and converting data; Encoding for Base64, URL, HTML entity and character-set conversions; Security for hashes, HMAC, JWT, key generation and password strength; Image for compression, conversion, resizing and SVG optimisation; PDF for merging, splitting, compressing and protecting documents; and a broad Utilities section covering everything from UUIDs and cron expressions to QR codes, invoices and regular-expression testing.
