How accurate is IP geolocation?
IP geolocation is typically accurate to the country level for over 99% of addresses and to the city level for around 80% of addresses. Accuracy decreases for mobile networks and VPNs, which show the VPN server location rather than the user's real location.
What is an ASN?
An Autonomous System Number (ASN) is a unique identifier assigned to a network of IP addresses under a single organisation's control. Large ISPs, universities, and companies each have their own ASN.

What is the difference between IPv4 and IPv6?
IPv4 addresses are 32-bit numbers written as four octets (e.g. 192.168.1.1), supporting about 4.3 billion addresses. IPv6 addresses are 128-bit numbers written in hexadecimal groups, supporting a practically unlimited number of addresses.
